Spring Continues to Awaken

Vermont spring morning light at Adams Hill House

Spring in Vermont goes through many stages. The snow is melted now at Adams Hill and the grass is starting to green. While most of the garden plans are still sleeping, still the land is waking up.

The morning sky holds colors not seen in any other season in the morning. Soft terracotta as a reflection of the morning sunrise to the east (left), the gray of cloud-cast shadow, the blue that says there is not much moisture up above - clear and bright.
